How to Take Care of Your Hot Tub Cover

Posted on May 27, 2020

Beachcomber hot tub coverHot tub covers are one of the most important energy saving aspects of your hot tub. Every Beachcomber cover is a heatshield that virtually locks in heat and energy. These covers are made in Canada for Canadian climates.

A Beachcomber cover will last  you at least 5 years … and beyond if you look after it well. Every Beachcomber Heatshield Cover is wrapped in a marine grade vinyl outer skin, specially treated to resist moisture, mildew and harmful UV rays from the sun. In order to extend the life of the cover it’s a great idea to use Beachcomber’s liquid Cover Care which is designed to clean and condition the outside of your Heatshield and protect it from the elements.Beachcomber Cover Care

As for the inside, did you know that your hot tub cover can be a good indicator of water care?  If your cover is wearing badly it could be caused by improperly balanced water.  Ensure you balance your water regularly to extend the life of your covers.  Want a little help figuring it all out?  Just bring in approximately 250ml of water and we’ll provide you with a FREE computer analysis and recommendations for treating your water.

Take care of your cover and it will take care of your tub!
